Works perfectly to suit my requirement. I wanted to extend my network to cover other rooms. I plugged the device to socket and tried to setup by pressing QSS button on existing router and pressing the middle button on the device, it did not pair. So I went to the current router management page on browser and tried adding the device under QSS section. After clicking "add device" option, the the page asks to click the device's middle button within 2 mins and when you do that, the device gets paired and it uses the same network name and starts extending the network. You can unplug and plug it to any socket it works as soon as you switch it on. It shows Amber/green light to show the best place to put it on.I took a chance by buying this product over expensive TPlink and Netgear routers and it worked for me. I will update this review after few months if I have anything significant observation, otherwise pls assume this device is working fine

Bought this one at Rs.999 during lightning deal. But returned back as it never worked correctly. This device is not optimized to work when there are more than one Wifi Range Extenders. It confuses itself and never extends the Wifi. The device needed a restart every now and then to make it work. The firmware is quite bad.

Not that great of a product .. The signal keeps breaking off so I have to keep disconnecting it for it to work again .. I have just had it for 15 days now don't know if it's even going to last 6 months ..

I ordered this as well one from Huawei; both had mixed reviews so I wanted to try both out and return the one I didn't like. I ended up keeping both. The review for Huawei is on its product page here: http://www.amazon.in/Huawei-WS331c-300Mbps-Wireless-Extender/dp/B00PC21G68/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1481175776&sr=1-2&keywords=huawei+extenderSpecifically on Tenda:the instruction sheet comes with two method to pair the Tenda with the router; the first method is to use a computer or smartphone. I had already tried to pair my Huawei (details in the review above) and had a no so great experience, so I ignored that method to see if the second method is better. The second method: The pairing using WPS was super-easy, I just plugged in both the router and the Tenda within 1 feet of each other, waited for a minute till the lights on both had stabilized, and pressed the WPS buttons on both within about 10seconds of each other. The lights started blinking and when the blinking finished, I just turned off the Tenda, turned it on again and it was good to go.For many people who are not highly technically inclined (my parents, in-laws, wife ...) OR for people who are technically inclined but would rather not waste their time, I would suggest just using the WPS button method. The botton is marked with two round arrows arranged in a circle on your router, pairing is as simple as pairing two bluetooth devices (which is very simple if you have never done it before)Finding a good location: it took some trial and error, basically here's a thumb rule: a decent WiFi transmitter is good for one brick-wall (between rooms), possibly one cupboard and about 10feet.Read more ›

Best Range Extender for 1,000. It works and works great actually. Wifi coverage is in each and every corner of the house now against only 1-2 rooms with Normal Binatone Modem Router before so really happy with Product and Brand. Unknown Brands works Great sometimes and better than expensive ones.
