Enjoy superb sound quality with the AmazonBasics Shockproof and Waterproof Bluetooth Wireless Speaker. The portable speaker makes a great choice for listening to your music just about anywhere - whether at home, in the shower, in the yard, poolside or out on a boat.
It works perfectly fine for the first month. It's probably one of the worst and most irritating Bluetooth speakers on the market. First off, the ringtone. I have been so damn irritated by this annoying ringtone that I actually wish that I didn't have the speaker. It just goes off without stopping and I can't control the volume for the call ringtone. Second, the battery. It takes too long to charge. It took me 4 hours to charge it and it only played for 3 days and everyday I played it for an hour, at most.Third, the design. The carabinier is the part of the speaker I hate the most. It's wrongly placed for me. The cuboidal shape might be new for others but it's sorta old. But I can't say I was only dissatisfied with the speaker. For the time that it worked, it gave me some trouble, but not so much that I had to return it. The bass was good enough to keep me happy. The quality of the sound was extremely crisp, in a good way. I could differentiate between all the different sounds of a particular song. The sound was really clear with a little less treble. The only problem is the speaker itself. I first bought it about 3 months ago, but had to return it as after 3 days of usage it suddenly stopped working. I got the new one and was happy that it was working after the first month. But now it's completely useless. The charging port is completely messed up. I didn't even snatch the cable out of the socket, I carefully took it out EVERY single time because I saw somewhere that plugging it out aggressively could lead to serious damage. Its insides are moving now. It had a little charge before it went out. So I though that I'd play some music just before it dies out. I played one song, at approximately 40% volume, and it wasn't even a heavy song, it died out. But if it's something unusual and the speaker runs for a much longer time than I had it, it's actually a pretty decent speaker.
I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker which would have the punch and also would be easy on the pocket.after some research decided to go with this one...and I'm super happy with this...over a period of time Amazon basics has grown into a very trusted and affordable brand and I have never been disappointed with them. This is an amazing speaker and I got it at a good deal.Features -- It is shockproof, waterproof, and dustproof design (rated IP 67)- Can be used in the shower or outdoors even when it's raining.- has Bluetooth 4.0- Simple pairing with devices- Rubberised edges which provide a good grip- Aluminium housing and has a rugged build- Simple to use rubberised buttons.- Carabiner included, so you can put it on your jeans loop or backpack etc- 33 feet wireless range- 8 hours of battery life- Micro USB Charging cable included- 1-year warrantywhat I like - - The price. it is a good quality product for the price.- Size, it's the size of an old Nokia communicator but little fatter- The bass signature is well defined and does not distort at high volume, The mids and highs are also clear and non-muddy. furthermore, it does not drown out or overpower frequencies when you increase the volume, so all the Bass, Mids and treble frequencies sound fuller and distinct.- weighs less and easy to carry around.- Has an aux input- LED indicator to show battery status- Overall build quality is brilliant.- Waterproof and sturdy build, really handy when you have children around the house.- No unnesarcary branding, nice clean black look...love it- premium quality build, nothing loose, or jangling. What I don't like -- Takes long to charge, nearly 3 hours..that's a bit long for me- The charging cable is too small, around 7 inches, though not a deal breaker as regular micro USB cables work well.- no micro sd card or USB option to play music.- The call handling was not satisfactory, though that will not be the main reason why I bought this unit.- The rubberised buttons are not tactile and you need to be firm in pressing them for a response.- No daisy chaining optionI would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a Bluetooth speaker, as the quality, sound and price are really good and value for money...is it perfect? well no... and nothing in life is...but for the price, it is a definite value for money, Go ahead and thank me later ! ! !I have added images so that you can get a feel of the product, Hope it helps...
I was looking for a decent speaker in half the range of this product; I also had the chance to check out premium speakers that were more than triple the range of this product—I finally settled for this.Low priced ones didn't have basic functionalities like charging indicators, while some didn't have core features I wanted, like bass support.I like what I bought because of the sound. The high and mid are clear, and you do get to hear thumps off the bass unit if you are on a surface close to where the speaker is kept. You won't need to bother with the sound clarity especially if you are using it with a computer, one which allows you to toggle equalizer.Other features I liked: Its strong body with rubberized buttons; indicator that shows charging on/off and connection; auto-off on non-usage; hands-free operation for calls; and the carabiner. There's one apparent bug that a reviewer has complained about here: it was about the volume of the speaker auto adjusting to a default value. It's not a bug I imagine. If you are operating the speaker through a phone, the volume resets to the value you have assigned from the speaker. You can increase or decrease that value from the + and - volume buttons and it will give you that specific volume every time a song is played. It's not a bug per se, but it's a tiny bit inconvenient assuming you would want the volume to stay the way you last had it.Note that when I received the speaker, the battery wasn't charged. After charging it for 10-15 minutes I thought I would use it and play songs through my phone, but there were intermittent disconnections because of low battery.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and I'd recommend it to you and my friends.
Don't buy this speaker...its volume keeps changing automaticallySuppose you set the volume at 30% then after sometime it changes to 20 then to 10 again to 20.. and like this it keeps changing..
