Works really well with my Moto G (1st Gen), though I am using it with ES3 File Explorer App available on Android Play Store. Its an excellent product for android smartphones having no expandable memory and one wants some extra storage space. Before purchasing the product, one can check whether this flash drive is compatible with your smartphone on www.sandisk.com/dualdrive. Sandisk also provides 5 years warranty on this product. For people who do not know what an OTG Flash Drive is - It is actually a product which has dual functionality because it has two connectivity ports - with the 1st one it can be connected to your Laptop/PC like a normal Pen Drive and with the other one you can connect it to your smartphone directly and can transfer/move/copy files like videos, movies, music files, photos, images, etc. We do not need an OTG Cable to connect it to our smartphone. This product has a retractable slider which limits its connectivity to one thing at a time. This means you can connect it to either your Laptop/PC or your Smartphone at a time - cannot be connected to both devices simultaneously. This is one of the latest products from Sandisk launched in 2015. It has USB 3.0 which makes transfer of files very very fast!Thank you Amazon for a providing a great product at an affordable price - Got it on 1 Sept 2015 in Lightning Deal Rs. 511 for the 16GB Version.PS - Writing my 1st ever review on Amazon - if you find it useful please support by liking my review so that I am encouraged to write more reviews in Future. Thanks. Cheers. 🙂

The Drive is about 3 centimeters long and about 2 centimeters wide. There is a full size USB 3.0 connector on one end. The center of the drive has a metal ring that allows you to attach a lanyard if needed. Switching the drive over to the OTG connection reveals a full size micro USB connection ready to go.The SanDisk Ultra Dual is factory formatted with the FAT32 file system and offers 28.9GB of capacity. The drive was capable of 110 - 120 MB/s read and 15-20 MB/s write.Mounted on a Nexus 5 I was able to play a 1080P Full HD MKV file (11GB total file size) with no issues at all.As mentioned already the slider mechanism is a little hard and does not inspire the greatest confidence. I fear that this will be the first part to fail but only time and usage will tell.So far I am happy with the drives performance.Attached screenshots display drive benchmarks.

Yes as said it is useful at many instances like transfering files and other stuff from mobile to other devices but when we use it as a traditional pendrive it fails at transfering speeds, even though it is 3.0 standard it transfers larger files at just between 10 - 15 mbps rate. But this may not bother many people so if u dont care of speed then its ok. Just like others even i didn't bother abt the speed sh**, but after when i recieved it after a long use i feel that I should have gone with the traditional pendrive with usb 3.0 standards. Conclusion : If ur desperate for an otg pendrive then it just satisfies that need.

I'm writing this review after some months of purchase and I'm quite happy with the flash drive. I have used it with Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Tab S2. Here's what I liked and what I didn't.What I liked -1. USB 3.0 Read - 144 MB/s / Write - 40 MB/s (32 GB version)2. MicroUSB (connected to smartphone / tab) - Read - 28 MB/s / Write - 20 MB/s (32 GB version)3. Small in size.4. Not as expensive as Corsair.5. 5 Years Warranty. In case anything happens, SanDisk customer support is great.6. Light weight.7. Doesn't heat up after extended use. What I didn't like -1. Very thick at 11 mm (others like Transcend, Corsair etc, are below 8 mm)2. Build quality - It's not a solidly built drive and feels kinda cheap. The sliding switch one has to use to switch between USB 3.0 and MicroUSB is not so great. Feels like you might break it upon more pressure, if applied.3. The design too is not so simple and elegant (Transcend and Corsair have a better design). The sliding switch to take out ports gets annoying at times.4. When you insert either MicroUSB in your phone / tab, or USB 3.0 in PC / laptop, the port of the drive slightly pushes inside upon insertion. You have make sure the port is completely out.5. Might have issue inserting it in phone or tablet with a thick case. Thin case will be fine. So think about it before you buy!6. An inclusion of neck strap would've been great. Conclusion - If the cons of this flash drive don't bother you much and fast transfer speeds is what you need, then you should definitely go for it. The flash drive is great. SanDisk is a great brand. If you think the cons mentioned above bother you, then you might wanna look elsewhere with Transcend, Corsair, Strontium etc as other brands. Good luck!
